Bhumi Adhikar Andolan today passed a resolution demanding release of JNU students union president Kanhaiya Lal and alleged violent reaction was just to divert the people's attention from the Narendra Modi government's failure.

Jaipur, Feb 20: Bhumi Adhikar Andolan today passed a resolution demanding release of JNU students union president Kanhaiya Lal and alleged violent reaction was just to divert the people’s attention from the Narendra Modi government’s failure. Also Read:  BJP mocks proposed Congress-CPI(M) alliance

“The resolution was taken up in the meeting today. The attack on freedom of expression is indicating towards the fascism. “Aggressiveness and violent reaction on the nationalism agenda is just to divert people’s attention from the failure of Modi government,” a release issued by the Andolan said. The meeting was attended by nearly 70 activists. Addressing the meeting, Kisan Sabha leader Biju Krishnan accused the Modi government of pushing corporate agenda.
