Patna, November 8: In a major setback for Bharatiya Janata Party, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is likely to suffer a big defeat in Bihar Assembly Election Results 2015. As per the trends after many rounds of counting, the Grand Alliance of Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Congress is heading towards majority with lead on over 130 seats. The BJP led NDA could lead in just 83 seats. Out of total 83 seats, the BJP is likely to win on just 65 seats.
The possible defeat of NDA in Bihar Assembly Election Results 2015 is a major blow for BJP after its humiliating defeat in Delhi Assembly polls. The BJP, which won 91 seats in the 2010 elections in Bihar, may get just 65 seats in this polls. It means, BJP will have to face the loss of around 20 seats. The possible election results, which is expected to show victory for Nitish Kumar, is a disappointment for BJP as the Modi magic failed second time after Lok Sabha elections 2014. It was Delhi where the first time Narendra Modi’s magic failed to work for BJP. The BJP, which had won 31 seats in 2013 Delhi elections was reduced to just 3 seats in 2015 Delhi Assembly polls. Now the second time Modi wave couldn’t create any impact for BJP. The Bihar Assembly Election Results 2015 once again taught that the communal agenda is out of fashion now. However the BJP leaders claimed that development was their agenda in Bihar polls but the election was mainly fought on communal lines.
The BJP leaders made insensitive comments on Dadri lynching and killings of Dalits in Ballabgarh. What went wrong with BJP was the defining silence of Narendra Modi on such incidents. The BJP tried to polarise the votes raking the issue of beef and cow slaughter just ahead of the last phase of polling. On the other hand, the arithmetic of Muslim-Yadav vote bank worked very well for the Grand Alliance.
