Patna, July 31: The owner of a coaching institute allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl for several months in Bihar’s Madhepura district. The girl’s family lodged a complaint against the owner of the coaching institute at Sadar police station on Monday, Madhepura Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Wasim Ahmad told PTI. According to the complaint lodged by the girl’s family, the owner of the coaching institute used to sexually exploit the girl when she used to go there for computer training, Ahmad said. The girl told her mother on Sunday that the institute’s owner had been sexually exploiting her for the past eight months, the SDPO said. A police team raided the coaching institute, located at ward number 13 in Madhepura town, he said, adding, several computers have been seized from the coaching institute. The owner of the institute is absconding, Ahmad said. Raids are being conducted to nab him, the SDPO said.

In another incident in Uttar Pradesh, a girl was allegedly abducted by five people and gang-raped for 14 days. The matter came to light today.

“I was abducted by five people on two motorcycles. They later took me to Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh), Bihar and Gurugram in a car and raped me. After 14 days, they left me in Mau (Uttar Pradesh),” the victim said and added that she does not know any of the five accused.

The police have registered a case and have launched a search for the accused. “A case has been registered. We will now take an action accordingly,” said Sangram Singh, Circle Officer.
