Patna, May 11: Following BJP’s ‘jungle raj’ barb at the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar after the road rage killing, deputy chief minister of Bihar, Tejaswi Yadav shot back at them saying Pathankot incident and Haryana riots are what can be called ‘jungle raj’.Also Read - 'Thappad se Darr Nahi Lagta', Uddhav Thackeray on BJP MLC’s Remark Against Shiv Sena Bhavan

“Road rage incidents happen. The Haryana riots and the Pathankot attack are also jungle raj. The  maximum number of road rage incidents occur in Delhi, isn’t that jungle raj?” Yadav was quoted as saying by the NDTV. It may be recalled that seven military personnel were killed when Pakistani terrorists attacked the Pathankot air base at the beginning of this year. Security forces managed to kill six terrorists after a gruelling 80-hour operation. Twenty-six-year-old Yadav, the younger son of former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, has come to the rescue of the state government since the son of a ruling party lawmaker allegedly shot dead a teenager for speeding past his SUV in Gaya.

Rocky Yadav has already been arrested and his mother, JDU MLC Manorama Devi, has gone into hiding after an arrest warrant was issued against her over a liquor stash in her residence.

Tejaswi Yadav has slammed the BJP and the media for targeting the government in the road rage case. “If a relative of any accused is member of a party (it) does not mean that the lawbreaker enjoys protection of the power that be,” he was quoted by the above-mentioned website.
