Patna: A bus was set ablaze by a group of students during a protest against the administration of Magadh University in Bodh Gaya over the cancellation of affiliation of 32 colleges, news agency ANI reported. No casualties have been reported so far.

In an earlier incident in West Bengal, an irate mob torched two buses and another vehicle and pelted stones at the police on the EM Bypass after two college students were run over by a speeding bus. The accident occurred at around 11.30 am when two college students — Biswajit Bhuniya and Sanjay Basu — were hit by a bus at Chingrighata area on the EM Bypass, Bidhannagar city police commissioner Gyanwant Singh said.
