On September 24, a goods train derailed in Assam’s Dima Hasao district. No reports of any casualty have been reported yet, said N-F Railway officials. All trains in the Lumding-Silchar hill section were cancelled until the next day due to the derailment.

The goods train was going towards Silchar from Lumding when 20 wagons derailed between Daotuhaja and Phiding railway station in the district.
