Bijnor: 24-year-old Boy Gatecrashes Wedding, Garlands Bride

Boy snatched the garland from the groom’s hand and throws it on the bride.

New Delhi, April 21: A 24-year-old boy gatecrashed his girlfriend’s wedding which was taking place in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. The boy was on a motorbike when he made the sudden appearance in the wedding.

As he entered with his bike, guests and family members of girl tried to stop him. He snatched the garland from the groom’s hand and throws it on the bride. The garland made a perfect landing. The garland was warped around the bride’s neck. All the guests, family members, and groom were shocked to see this. After this bride also got up from her seat and walked towards the boy and accepted him as her future husband.

The enraged family members started beating the boy very badly. Groom family members called the police and the boy was rescued. The wedding was called off. Initial reports say that both boy and girl were in a relationship but their family was not ready. The girl is a Dalit and boy belongs to an upper-middle-class family.

Recently, a 23-year-old man was killed in front of his parents allegedly by family members of his girlfriend in west Delhi on Friday. The man, identified as Ankit Saxena was stabbed and had his throat slit using a sharp weapon. The incident took place when Saxena, a photographer by profession, was on his way to meet his girlfriend. He was caught by her family in Raghubir Nagar and a verbal spat followed. Saxena, was then kicked and punched by the girl’s father and uncle before the former stabbed him and slit his throat.
