Basti: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Harish Dwivedi on Sunday took a dig at Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and commented on her sartorial choices while doing so.

Dwivedi told mediapersons, “Everyone knows that when Priyanka Gandhi is in Delhi, she wears jeans and top but dons saree and sindoor when she comes to the constituencies.” He went on to call Priyanka a failure like her brother Rahul Gandhi. Dwivedi added, “For me or the BJP, Priyanka Gandhi is not an issue. If Rahul Gandhi is a failure, Priyanka is also a failure.”

Weeks after Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s official entry into politics, BJP leaders have been passing controversial remarks on the Congress leader.

On January 25, Vinod Narayan Jha, a minister from Bihar had called Priyanka “a very beautiful face” with no political achievement to her credit.
