New Delhi, Dec 22: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Chintamani Malviya on Thursday launched a scathing attack on newly elected legislator Jignesh Mevani, who won the Vadgam seat, over his comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Malviya likened Mevani to a cockroach in a Facebook post and questioned if Congress president Rahul Gandhi directed him to talk about the PM in such light.
Malviya began his post by saying that Rahul Gandhi had ‘bought’ three ‘animals’ who eat and spread dirt, referring to the support the Congress had from Dalit leader Mevani, Patidar leader Hardik Patel and OBC leader Alpesh Thakur. He said the trio were bought by Rahul Gandhi but they lack culture.
He said that Jignesh is himself fed up of his own dirty politics and bored of himself and that is the reason he finds the world boring. This is a direct response to Mevani’s comment that people are bored of Modi and the PM should stop fooling people.
Malviya alleged that ‘people like Mevani’ have done nothing for the nation apart from playing low-dirty politics. He asked Mevani, what has he done for the Dalits. “You have only used the cause of the Dalits for self-interest,” Malviya alleged.
The Madhya Pradesh MP also accused Mevani of helping the ‘Communists’ of dividing the country in the name of reserved category. “If you would have actually belonged to the Scheduled caste category, you would have followed the footsteps of Bharat Ratna Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar and not the communists,” he said. “You people cannot even be compared to Modi Ji because cockroaches cannot be compared to the Sun,” he added.
Mevani, following his win in the Gujarat Assembly elections 2017, also said that Modi should retire and go to the Himalayas. “Modi should think of an alternate career priest,” he said.
Continuing his attacks on Mevani, Malviya said Modi did not contest the elections and become the Prime minister for fun. “(You are) Asking the pride of the country to go to the Himalayas and settle there? Would he advise his parents the same? ” he questioned. “Did you leave Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh in the Himalayas? he further said.
It seems Rahul Gandhi directed you to make such remarks on PM, he said. “And then as per direction of Rahul Gandhi, you would act to apologise,” he said.
Malviya also liked Mevani with Hardik Patel and said, “Do you consider only those as young who are exposed in CDs like you leader?”, a clear reference to Hardik Patel’s sex CDs.
The MP then continued his praise of PM Modi stating how his contribution has taken the country to great heights. “The whole nation waits to hear from the most famous leader of the people of India Narendra Modi, who from waking up at 4 AM in the morning to working late every night has dedicated his whole self to the cause of the nation,” he said.
“Modi’s programme ‘Mann ki Baat’ has led to a growth in the revenue of All India Radio,” Malviya further said.
“But people like you, belonging to low-minded gangs can never understand such things,” he claimed.
In the end of the post, Malviya said that his post might seem like a strong message to his followers, but in front of the language that Jignesh used for Modi, even this strong message will appear civil.
