New Delhi, July 14: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday, July 14 rubbished AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi‘s charges on Amit Shah fixing Ayodhya verdict by promising a Ram Mandir before the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 saying that “no such agenda was even on the agenda”. “Yesterday in Telangana, BJP President Amit Shah did not make any statement on the issue of Ram mandir as being claimed in certain sections of the media. Earlier in the day, slamming the BJP chief for his “construction of Ram Mandir on the disputed site in Ayodhya before 2019 Lok Sabha Elections”, Asaduddin Owaisi asked if he’s going to write the judgment when the Supreme Court is still deciding the title dispute. Taking to microblogging site Twitter, Owaisi said, “Amit Shah in Hyderabad says Mandir will be built before the Parl elections question is Shah going to write the judgment when the SCourt is deciding the Title dispute,& whether Masjid is essential feature of Islaam.” The AIMIM chief also said that for fair and free elections, the judgment should be given after the 2019 polls.

The AIMIM chief also said that being chief of a ruling party in India, Amit Shah should refrain from making such remarks. The AIMIM chief also claimed that the BJP will not win a single seat in Telangana.

Amit Shah on Friday said that construction of a grand Ram temple at Ayodhya will begin before the 2019 elections. Shah told a meeting of party leaders here that steps will be taken to clear the decks for launching construction of the temple before the polls. Briefing the media about the meeting, BJP leader Perala Sekharjee quoted Shah as saying that the construction of the temple will begin before 2019.

“Considering the developments, I believe that construction of Ram temple will begin before the coming general elections,” Shah was quoted as saying. The BJP chief, who arrived on a day-long visit to Hyderabad on Friday, also told the meeting that the elections will not be advanced.
