New Delhi, Jan 11: A black cornered notice will be issued through Interpol for the identification of four terrorists who were killed in the Pathankot attack. The National Investigative Agency (NIA) is likely to probe the role of insiders in smuggling arms and ammunition of the terrorists inside the base.
Since, preliminary probe suggested that some of the terrorists were present in the base. NIA is not leaving on any possible hint that gives traces to the terrorists. The attackers is also said to have been trained by professionals from the Pakistani Army. As per reports, the terrorists had conducted a mock brill at Pakistan air base before attacking the country. However, the Pakistan government denied the claims of NIA and also rejected the evidences provided by them. The 10 member NIA team also recovered one AK-47 Rifle magazine, one mobile phone and one pair of binoculars from site of the attack. NIA will also conduct polygraph test on Gurdaspur SP Salwinder Singh who is suspected to have been involved in the attack. the role of inside forces is strongly suspected.
Reportedly, the terrorists had entered the Indian Air Force (IAF) even before they launched the attack. They hid in the elephant grass for over 20 hours talking to their handlers in Pakistan.
Police issues Black Notice to seek information or to communicate information about crimes or about unidentified bodies or their counterparts around the world.
