Bomb blasts in Haryana Roadways bus in Pipli, nine injured

Some of the eyewitnesses are of the opinion that the blast took place from a battery-like object in a yellow bag which exploded and injured nine people.

Kurukshetra (Haryana), May 26: In a shocking incident on Thursday, an explosion was reported in a bus in Haryana’s Kurukshetra district when it was on its way to Chandigarh from Sonepat. In the incident, nine people have been injured and and have been admitted to the hospital. Though, no casualty has been reported yet, investigation is on. The police reached at the spot when the Haryana Roadways bus was travelling to Chandigarh and was crossing Pipli in Kurukshetra district. According to the eyewitnesses the explosion was not that huge, but was enough to take lives of the passengers. Some of the eyewitnesses are of the opinion that the blast took place from a battery-like object in a yellow bag which exploded and injured nine people. The police have launched the investigation and sent the details to the forensic departments. Details awaited.
