As per the news agency ANI, the bomb threat reads, “This is a warning from the Jaish-e-Mohammed White Collar Terror Team. The e-mail claimed that the threat was sent from the terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad.
In November, police nabbed a female software engineer in connection with allegedly sending multiple hoax bomb threat emails. Police stated that the woman was arrested in connection with a case lodged at the Kalasipalya Police Station BNS and IT Act.
The accused woman had confessed to the police that she was involved in six cases in Bengaluru city, including the Kalasipalya police station case.
It is to be noted that the bomb threat email came days after cops initiated taking strict action against ‘white-collar terror module’ that is linked to the Delhi’s Red Fort blast that killed 15 people.
As per National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) investigation, five doctors were involved in the blast. To finance the conspiracy, they had raised funds and then they executed terror strikes in several cities.
Notably, the ‘white collar’ terror module was busted by the police of three states – Jammu and Kashmir police, UP and Haryana Police. The investigation led cops to Faridabad University where they seized 2,900 kg of explosives.
The November 10 blast near Red Fort occurred hours after the arrest of eight people, including three doctors and the seizure of 2,900 kg of explosives. This has uncovered a “white collar” terror module that also involved Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. As per NIA, this module was spread across Kashmir, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
