Breaking News Updates 29 May 2022: Popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala on Sunday was shot dead by unidentified persons in Punjab’s Mansa district. The incident took place a day after the Punjab government withdrew his security cover. The police said that Sidhu Moose Wala died after suffering bullet injuries. The singer had joined the Congress party in December last year. Sidhu Moosewala’s attackers are yet to be identified and arrested. Punjab Police had confirmed the incident. In less than 24 hours after his security was curtailed by the government, Moosewala, with a huge fan base running into millions, was shot dead by gangsters close to his ancestral village in Mansa in Punjab in broad daylight on Sunday, police said. He was 29 years old.
