The survivor is currently admitted in Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital and is said to be in critical condition. She has sustained serious injuries on her face, neck, and eyes.
The three siblings were staying with their parents in the Gulawati village of Bulandshahr.
The matter came to light after a passerby intimated the police on Thursday afternoon.
According to a report in Times of India, the 22-year-old acid attack survivor narrated the whole incident before being taken to the hospital.
A case has been registered under IPC sections 326 (punishment for throwing acid), 307 ( attempt to murder). The motive behind the attack has not yet been ascertained.
Reportedly, a police team also visited the girl’s family residence in Bulandshahr but the found the door locked and the family members missing.
