Dehradun, Bhubaneswar, Jan 11: Central Bureau of Investigation is quick to crackdown on corruption lately. The central probe agency, on Monday, arrested two officials from Dehradun and Bhubaneswar on graft charges. Senior Section Engineer of North-Eastern Railways (Uttarakhand) for allegedly demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.10,000. CBI officials nabbed him from the Railways department in Dehradun. The arrest was made after conducting a preliminary investigation of the complaint made by tender filers. Another arrest was made by the CBI in Odisha capital of Bhubaneswar. Manager(Security) of Union Bank of India (Bhubaneswar) for allegedly demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 40,000 from complainant. The manager was caught red-handed accepting the graft amount from the complainant. The reason behind availing the bribe is yet not public.
