Vijayawada, Dec 3: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu today distributed laptops and tricycles to disabled students here to mark the World Disability Day. At the state-level function, the Chief Minister announced that special homes for disabled will be set up in Nellore, Eluru and Srikakulam. “Special homes for visually-impaired will be set up at Kakinada and Ananthapur and a study circle for disabled will be established in Vijayawada,” he said. He further said a special home for mentally-challenged will be set up at Nellore and a sports complex would be constructed for the disabled in Visakhapatnam. Moreover, a braille press with Rs 2.70 crore funds will be established here, Naidu added.
