Two Maoists killed in an encounter with the security forces in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada area on early Wednesday morning.

New Delhi: Two Maoists, including a woman, were killed in an exchange of fire with the security forces near Dantewada and Sukma border early Wednesday morning.

The incident took place in the area that falls under the Aranpur police station.

An INSAS and one 12 Bore rifle alongwith other ammunition were recovered from the spot of encounter.

A search operation is currently underway in the area.
