Bilaspur, Feb 10: Chhattisgarh Home Minister Ramsevak Paikra was injured in a gruesome road accident on Wednesday evening. Paikra was immediately rushed to nearby Bhatgaon Hospital. According to eye-witness reports, he had suffered major injuries on the upper body. His condition is said to be critical.
The accident occurred on Benaras Road, near the renowned location of Ghat Pendari. The accident occurred when the state home minister was returning in his official vehicle after attending a meeting in Warf Nagar. He was heading towards Surajpur. the vehicle rammed into a loaded mini-truck which was coming from opposite end of the road.

According to initial reports, the fault was of Paikra’s drivers who could not control the speed while taking a turn and rammed into the truck which was coming from the opposite side. No casualties have been reported. The driver has also sustained injuries.
Chhattisgarh HM Ramsevak Paikra was rushed to the hospital immediately for treatment. His condition is critical but stable.
