New Delhi: In yet another incident of violence, five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were injured in an IED blast followed by an exchange of fire in Dantewada area of Chhattisgarh on Monday evening. One paramilitary jawan died after succumbing to his injuries.
All the five jawans who were wounded have been airlifted to Raipur.

Further, security personnel had arrested four Naxals from Bastar, earlier today.

In another incident last year, five security personnel and one civilian were injured in an IED blast in Bijapur district. The injured included four Border Security Force (BSF) personnel and one District Reserve Guard (DRG).
