Police later informed deceased family members and his body was sent for a post-mortem examination.
In September, a 60-year-old woman and her differently-abled daughter were found bludgeoned to death inside their flat in Mianwali area of the national capital. Reportedly, the murder took place last evening. Police said that the incident was reported after the maid noticed the bodies. She immediately made PCR call.
The deceased was identified as Shashi Talwar and Nidhi. Police had said, “Shashi Talwar’s throat was slit & her daughter Nidhi was killed with blunt force. Their hands & mouth were tied.” Ruling out the possibility of robbery, police said that the entry in the house was friendly because there were 2 teacups lying in the drawing room. The pieces of jewellery are intact.
In a similar incident, a 50-year-old woman and her two daughters, aged 19 and nine years, were found murdered at their residence in northeast Delhi’s Brahmapuri area. The incident came to light when neighbours had called up police complaining of the intolerable stench emanating from their house, which was locked from the outside. When it was opened, the highly decomposed bodies of the three were found, a senior official had said. The victims were identified as Saira (50) and her daughters Mehrunisha and Shabnam.
