A 19-year-old boy, reportedly in an inebriated state, drove a Haryana Roadways bus from Mirchpur village of Hisar district and crashed into a house at Rajpura Bhain village of Jind district on Wednesday, according to a Times of India report. The accused, identified as Praveen, was on his way back to home after getting drunk when he found the bus parked in is village. The accused, a student of Class 12, crashed the bus into a house after losing control near Rajpura Bhain village. Also Read - Nagaland woman dies after falling from Delhi building

The villagers managed to pull Praveen out of the bus in around three hours and took him to a hospital. Hearing the sound of crash at around 1 am, they rushed to the spot and found the bus crashed into a house.

The report cited Jitender Yadav, work manager of the Hisar unit of Haryana Roadways, saying they had reported bus theft to Mirchpur police and initiated a departmental inquiry against the driver and conductor for leaving the bus unattended.
