New Delhi: A class six student, Amesh Singh alias Aarav, died at the prestigious Mount Fort Inter College in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. On Friday, 05 December 2025, while taking an exam, Aarav’s health deteriorated, and he collapsed unconscious in his seat. Panic ensued in the classroom, and teachers rushed the student to the school’s medical room. CPR was administered for a considerable time, but to no avail.

Teachers immediately rushed him to Bhao Rao Deoras Civil Hospital for emergency treatment, and his parents were also informed. Doctors at the hospital declared him dead.

Dr. Ranjeet Dixit, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Bhao Rao Deoras Civil Hospital, confirmed that the boy was brought in at around 11:05 a.m. in an unresponsive state. Despite the best efforts of the emergency team, they were unable to revive him.

Aarav’s father, Sandeep Singh, a resident of Jankipuram, arrived at the hospital shortly afterwards. Officials have stated that the exact cause of death will be determined only after a detailed death audit.
