Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi to Campaign in Karnataka From Today
Rahul is expected to address public meetings, and only women rally.

New Delhi, Feb 24: Congress President Rahul Gandhi will resume his campaigns in poll-bound Karnataka from today. He will be on and will cover Belgaum, Vijayapura (Bijapur), Bagalkot and Dharwad districts from the Mumbai-Karnataka region of the state.
As reported, party’s state unit president G. Parameshwara said that Rahul is expected to address public meetings, and only women rally. He will also hold interaction with various groups and also flag off a marathon during the visit.
This Rahul’s second visit just 10 days of his first visit to the state since becoming party chief. For making his campaigning more stronger, he is likely to travel by bus and may visits to temples and dargahs in the next round of the campaigning too.

Though the schedule for election to the 224-member assembly in Karnataka is yet to be declared, campaigning has already begun with national leaders from the Congress and the BJP training guns at each other.
The ruling Congress is seeking to retain power in Karnataka, while the BJP is eyeing to wrest the southern state from it. The Congress had unseated the BJP in Karnataka in 2013.
Congress is struggling in 40 such constituencies and many of its MLAs are facing problems regarding anti-incumbency. While the party is relying on the Siddaramaiah’s image, many leaders are working on keeping their seats and winning new ones.
