New Delhi: A total of 800 people came to contact with Delhi’s mohalla clinic doctor Gopal Jha, who tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday. All these 800 people have been traced and asked to self-quarantine themselves, Delhi health minister Satyendra Jain said. The doctor’s wife and daughter have also tested positive. With the doctor and four others, the number of positive cases in Delhi has risen to 36.
The entire country is currently under lockdown to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus. According to Delhi government officials, the doctor got infected from a patient, with abroad travel history, who visited him in the mohalla clinic.
