New Delhi: Two residential societies in Noida and Greater Noida have been sealed after three positive coronavirus came to light on Friday. While two cases have been reported from Paras Tierea society in Sector 137 of Noida, the third case is from Omicron-3 group housing society in Greater Noida. On March 24, a high rise society in Gautam Buddha Nagar was locked down for three days after a resident of the society tested positive for COVID-19. The society– Logix Blossom County, located in Noida’s Sector-137 was sealed till March 26.
Prior to that, Supertech Capetown Society in Noida’s Gautam Budh Nagar was sealed after a resident tested positive for COVID-19. The action was taken on the orders of Gautam Buddha Nagar District Magistrate BN Singh.
The Gautam Buddha Nagar administration had also locked down Nirala Grandeur after two persons with a travel history from Denmark tested positive.
Yesterday, three patients from Noida, who were undergoing treatment at different hospitals were discharged. All the three cases were linked to the couple based in Noida who tested positive earlier this week. The list includes their daughter as well who has been totally asymptomatic so far.
