New Delhi: Congress leader Jitin Prasada and his wife Neha, who both went into self-quarantine after attending a party in Lucknow, which was also attended by coronavirus positive singer Kanika Kapoor, have tested negative for the infection, Prasada informed in a tweet on Sunday. In a tweet today, the former Union Minister said, “After getting tested for COVID-19, the results for both me and my wife have come negative. He also thanked the doctors at Lucknow’s King George’s Medical University (KGMU) for looking after him and his wife.
On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh, who was one of the attendees at the party, too, had tested negative for coronavirus.
On a related note, UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has also tested negative for COVID-19. He had interacted with the singer’s uncle in Kanpur when she was staying there. Her uncle’s family has also tested negative.
