Symptoms May Vary
Broadly, respiratory discomfort, fever are the main symptoms. But the symptoms may vary. For example, the first coronavirus case in India, the Kerala girl who is a medical student, did not have any symptoms. So, there is no need to panic if one has a fever. Go, consult a doctor before panicking.
Psychological Support is Necessary
Talking about the Italian tourists who have recovered, the doctors in the Gurgaon facility have said that absolute isolation, proper food, rest and medication helped them recover. But apart from that, psychological support is also needed for a speedy recovery.
Old People Need Not Panic
Though it’s being emphasised that old people are more susceptible to the virus, there is no need to panic, doctors say. One of the Italians who has recovered in the Gurgaon quarantine facility was above 70. Decreased immunity to fight the virus is the villain here. But there’s no need to draw a hurried conclusion, say experts.
