Bhopal, April 13: Motorcyclist Veenu Paliwal met a tragic end on Monday as her bike Harley Davidson skidded near Gyaraspur village of Madhya Pradesh leading to her death. The news came as a huge blow for the biking community in India. While everyone was grieving at the loss of India’s most recognized female rider, co-biker Dipesh Tanwar, who was travelling along with Veenu, held the district administration in Gyaraspur responsible for her death. According to Tanwar, Veenu was rushed immediately to the nearby Vidisha district healthcare. Dr Mamta Parthe had allegedly failed to handle Veenu with care and injected her with wrong injection leading to her death. Tanwar claims that Veenu did not met a fatal accident. However, Dr Parthe rubbished such allegations. “Why would I try to kill a patient? Her death deeply pains me too. I tried my best to save Veenu’s life. She was brought here in an unconscious condition. I gave her the life-saving drugs, but could not revive her,” she said. Also Read - Miracles Exist! Dr Parthe further added that she herself took Veenu to Vidisha district hospital, after her pulses were not responding. “There was some internal injury and when the drip stopped and 108 ambulance did not turn up, I referred her to district hospital in my vehicle,” she was quoted as saying by TOI.

Paliwal was conferred with the title of ‘Lady Harley Davidson’. The 44-year-old biker was planning to undertake a pan-India tour. She is survived by a teenage son and daughter.
