One CRPF jawan injured in the terrorist attack at Maisuma in Lal Chowk, Srinagar, succumbs to his injuries in the hospital

Srinagar: A CRPF jawan injured in a terrorist attack at Maisuma in Lal Chowk, Srinagar, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital on Monday. According to news agency ANI, two CRPF jawans were injured in the attack. “Strongly condemn the dastardly terror attack on civilians & CRPF personnel. My deepest condolences to the family of martyred HC Vishal Kumar & prayers for early recovery of the injured. Our security forces will give a befitting reply,” Office of LG tweeted.

In a separate incident, two non-local labourers were injured when terrorists shot at them in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. “Terrorists opened fire on Patleshwar Kumar and Jako Chowdhary, both residents of Bihar, at Lajoora in Pulwama district this (Monday) afternoon,” the officials said.

The two injured men, said officials, were rushed to a nearby hospital.
