New Delhi, June 12: Self-styled godman Daati Maharaj has been booked for allegedly raping his disciple in national capital. The victim has reportedly alleged that  she was sexually assaulted inside Shani Dham two years ago but did not report the matter to police out of fear and social stigma. She has also revealed that there are several other women were also physically assaulted by the god-man. case has been registered against the self-styled godman and has been booked under sections of Indian Penal Code 376 (Punishment for rape), 377, 354 and 34. According to police sources, the case was registered in Fatehpur Beri on Sunday. The self-styled godman has a huge following in Delhi-NCR and other parts of North India. He is also a popular face on Indian television and is also seen with several politicians. Earlier also the controversial godman has been accused of sexual assault.
