Mumbai, Feb 8: The deposition of the Pakistani-American David Headley has revealed shocking details of the 26/11 terror attack in India. In the video conferencing, he has let out a series of unknown details about the planning of the deadly event and his involvement in it. In his latest revelation, he said, “First attempt was made in September 2008 but boat hit rocks in the ocean and weapons and explosives were.Although attack failed, those on board survived. Second attempt to attack Mumbai was made in October 2008, those involved in first attempt were involved in this as well, but attack failed.” Headley said, “Third and final attack on Mumbai was successful.”
During his deposition, he also said, “I was a true follower of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Sajid Mir of Lashkar-e-Taiba was my main contact. I changed my name so that I could enter India. I wanted to enter India with an American name. After receiving new passport I visited India eight times, out of eight times I visited Mumbai seven times. Headley during the video conferencing said that he took orders directly from Lashkar e Taiba’s Sajid Mir. He wanted Headley to set up an office and business in India and gave him instructions to make general videos of Mumbai. Mir then used the email ID chalchalo@yahoo.com to communicate. Headley deposition took place before special prosecutor, G A Sanap.
