New Delhi: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is all set to launch its housing scheme on Monday, March 25. Under the scheme, people will get an opportunity to own a DDA flat in national capital. According to the scheme, total 18,000 flats will be sold in Narela and Vasant Kunj areas.
Of the total 18,000 ready to sell flats, 7,700 flats shall be assigned to the Economic Weaker Section (EWS) category, 8,300 flats to Lower Income Group (LIG) category. 1,550 flats to Middle Income Group (MIG) and 450 flats to Higher Income Group (HIG) category.
Application money:
EWS/Janta category will have to deposit Rs 25,000
Lower Income Group (LIG) category will have to deposit Rs 1 lakh
MIG/ HIG category will have to deposit Rs 2 lakh for 2/3 bedroom flat.
How and where to apply
Those looking to own house in the National Capital can start applying online under this housing scheme from today at the official website of DDA i.e www.dda.org.in. The application process will end on 10th May 2019. The draw process will be held in June/July this year and then the process of flat assigning to winners will begin.
If an individual fail to win in the draw process of DDA flats, the application fee will be refunded to them as soon the refund process will start.
Financing from the houses can be easily made available via official banking partners such including Axis Bank, Yes Bank, IDBI, Bank of Baroda, Central Bank, SBI, Kotak Mahindra, HDFC, ICICI Canara Bank and others
Eligibility criteria
He/She must be a citizen of India.
If he/she already owns a DDA flat, then they cant apply for the scheme.
The applicant and his/her spouse should not own any residential house in Delhi.
He/she should not own a joint plot or land more than 66.9 sq ft.
