New Delhi, December 31: The Bhartiya Janata Party on Thursday issued show cause notice against their party leader and Member of Parliament Kirti Azad for alleged misconduct. the party had also asked the suspended MP in the letter why should he not be expelled from the party. The lawmaker from Bihar and former cricketer was suspended from BJP for carrying out ‘anti party’ activities. Azad, a member of Delhi District Cricket Association had alleged financial irregularities with the DDCA board. A fortnight ago Azad took a press conference, where he exposed that a huge payment by the DDCA was allotted to ghost companies which existed only on letter heads. On Wednesday the DDCA decided to file a defamation case against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Kirti Azad.

DDCA Treasurer Ravinder Manchanda has said cases will be filed against anyone who makes baseless allegations against the cricketing body.

AAP had alleged that the DDCA were also demanding bribe from players during selection and even that one of the officer sought sex to a female candidate for favours. On the other side the DDCA has called the allegations completely baseless.

Chauhan who addressed a press conference on Wednesday said, “that any person with such complaints is free to approach any member of the DDCA whom they trust and file a complaint”.

Azad, on Wednesday targeted many more politicians, including BJP MP and BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur. He also supported Arvind Kejriwal’s allegation that a DDCA member had sought sexual favours from a women as she wanted her son to be part of DDCa cricket team.
