Delhi:  One person was killed and 14 others were injured in a collision between a truck and a DTC bus near ITO flyover at around 3 AM on Tuesday. The bus driver succumbed to his injuries in the accident that took place in when the bus was en route from Anand Vihar to Uttam Nagar, stated news agency ANI. Meanwhile, all those injured in the accident were rushed to LNJP hospital with the help of police. The collision led the bus to ram into the divider.

In yet another accident on February 21, at least six persons were killed and 18 others injured in an accident where three vehicles were involved. The accident took place on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in Mirzapur Ajigawan village at about 2 AM when a truck carrying pipes lost control and hit a divider, said police. As pipes got scattered on the Expressway, a bus coming from behind overturned and hit a car from the back. Three women and two children were among those killed on the spot while 18 others were injured in the incident, Circle Officer of Bangarmau, Ambrish Bhadauria said. The bus was going to Muzaffarpur in Bihar from Delhi, he said.



In a similar incident on February 17, at least three people were killed and 15 injured when a motorcycle collided with a bus near Jalalabad in Shamli district, police said. The incident took place on the Delhi-Saharanpur highway when the deceased were travelling on the bike. The victims were identified as Waseem (21), his wife Imrana (20), and his mother Zubeda Begum (55), the police said, adding that the 15 injured were shifted to a hospital.
