The incident came nearly two weeks later a clash was reported between two Nigerian groups in Chhatarpur area in Delhi.

In October 2017, two groups of Nigerian nationals clashed with each other inside a hospital in south Delhi. Soon after the clash broke out, the hospital staff locked themselves up in a toilet for safety.
