New Delhi: New Delhi: A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) vehicle caught fire at Shantipath area of the national capital, news agency ANI reported on Saturday. As per ANI tweet, there are no reports of any casualty or injury till now. More details are awaited.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The fire was later doused with the help of a fire tender. People gathered near the vehicle. Locals also helped the fire officials in dousing the flames.
Last month, a major fire broke out in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) building. Reports suggested that fire broke out in a nursing room. There are no reports of any casualty or injury. The exact cause of the fire was not known.
In a similar incident, a fire broke out in Lok Nayak Bhawan, where many government offices are located. The Delhi Fire Services headquarters had received information and six fire tenders were dispatched, the officer had said.
The building, which is the headquarters of the Enforcement Directorate, also has some offices of the CBI, Income Tax, and the National Disaster Response Force.
