New Delhi: Apart from Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) thumping victory in Delhi Assembly election 2020, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has another reason to celebrate, as the day (Feb 11) also marks his wife Sunita Kejriwal’s birthday. Notably, Sunita Kejriwal turned 54 on Tuesday. She was posted as Commissioner of IT in the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) in New Delhi. Sunita served in the central government for over 20 years. She quit her job by opting for the voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) in 2016. Kejriwal was also an IRS officer before joining politics. Meanwhile, netizens took to micro-blogging site Twitter to wish CM’s wife, who had campaigned extensively for the Aam Aadmi Party. “Happy Birthday Sunita Kejriwal Maa’m God bless you and entire family. You are the strength of our hero. Proud of you,” a Twitter user Anil Siwach tweeted.
Another user, John Rayhan, tweeted, “What a day to celebrate birthday!! Happy birthday to Sunita Kejriwal ma’am, the force behind the man of the day today @ArvindKejriwal”.
On the other hand, the Aam Aadmi Party has crossed majority mark in early trends. It is leading on 61 seats while the BJP is ahead on 09 seats.
