New Delhi: A fire broke out at a shop in Delhi’s Sadar Bazar on Sunday, stated news agency PTI. So far, no injury or casualty has been reported, added the report.

Soon after news of the fire accident spread, 12 fire tenders rushed to the spot and began their fire-fighting operations, stated a report. While the fire department received a call at 3 PM regarding the fire accident, the flames were brought under control by 4.25 PM on the same day.

The shop was located on the fourth and fifth floors of a building. According to news agency PTI, a senior fire official noted that the shop had packaging materials and plastic toys. However, the exact cause of the blaze is yet to be determined.

In yet another incident on February this year, a massive fire broke out at Arpit Palace Hotel in Karol Bagh claiming the lives of 17 persons, stated a report.
