New Delhi, Dec 3: Fog in Delhi has badly hit the early morning traffic and disrupted the normal routine of Airport and Railway station. Due to fog nine international flights and four domestic flights have been delayed, and one Delhi-Lucknow flight has been cancelled. The thick fog has caused several accidents in various parts of North India which includes Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana.  Airport and Rail services were affected in  Punjab and Haryana too. The North regions woke up to the season’s first fog on November 30, 2016 and since then disruption of air, road and rail has taken place.

Today’s weather displays fog until 10 am, cloudy until 12 pm and from there on haze will take over, followed by fog at night.

As per  a report of Skymet Weather, the prevailing easterly winds have changed their directions and dry and humid north westerly are expected to follow and this will give a relief from fog. Delhi NCR will be surrounded by moderate fog for the next 48 hours.
