New Delhi, April 23: A major fire broke out in a slum area of Mansarovar Park in the national capital on Monday, a news agency ANI reported. The incident occurred in afternoon. At least 15 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames. Police also reached the spot as soon they got information.
The fire has been doused and no casualty was reported till now. Locals also helped the fire officials in the operation. Panic gripped the area as soon as the fire news spread. Residents were seen coming out of their houses. More details are awaited in the incident.
Recently, a fire broke out in a slum near Kalindi Kunj Metro Station area. One person was injured and 44 temporary Rohingya camps were gutted in the fire. Big clouds of smoke were seen coming out from the area.

In another fire incident, four persons, including a 3-year-old and a 7-year-old, died after a fire broke out at a house in Kohat Enclave area. The exact reason due to which the blaze erupted is not clear however, reports said that the incident happened due to a short circuit. Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation into the matter.
