New Delhi, August 11: In a tragic incident, a man was charred to death after his car caught fire near Ambedkar Nagar area in the wee hours of Saturday. The incident came to fore after the Delhi Fire Service received an anonymous call at 1:48 am. Narrating the incident, the officials said that the vehicle was reduced to ashes when they reached the spot. They assumed that the car caught fire after colliding with another speeding vehicle. The team investigating the incident also informed that the deceased was seemingly carrying bundles of paper with him for supply. Further investigation in the incident is underway. Earlier last month a similar incident was reported wherein eight people from the same family were killed while one got injured after a car caught fire following a collision with a truck on Rajkot-Morbi Highway near Morbi district’s Tankara town in Gujarat. In a similar incident, three persons were charred to death and two others seriously injured when the car in which they were travelling caught fire after hitting a parked truck near Bhadaj Circle on SP Ring Road in Ahmedabad in March. The deceased was identified as Rahul Barad (21), Romel Patwa (25), and Dhairya Patel whose age is not known.
