New Delhi, Oct 9: A 32-year-old man in Delhi stabbed his wife for not keeping Karva Chauth fast and then jumped from a four-storey building on Sunday night. The woman identified as Rohini is undergoing treatment in a hospital, while her husband Jaswinder Singh is dead, PTI reported.Also Read - Will Chhath Puja Celebrations be Allowed in Delhi? Rohini told police that Jaswinder was upset as she didn’t keep fast on karva chauth. Jaswinder and his wife were living separately as they had filed for divorce recently. The police said that the incident happened when he came to meet her at her parents’ home. On reaching Rohini’s parents’ home, Singh asked her to come with him to the terrace as he wanted to talk something. Also Read - Beware Delhi! The couple was followed by their four-year-old daughter. Their discussion turned into a heated argument and Singh stabbed her with a knife. The incident was witnessed by their daughter. After stabbing his wife, Jaswinder jumped from the terrace and was declared ‘brought dead’ by the doctors.
