Delhi: Man Shot Dead by Younger Brother in Front of Wife For Having Extra-marital Affairs
A man was shot dead by his elder brother for having extra-marital affairs and wasting family resources on them.
New Delhi: A 34-year-old man was shot dead in front of his wife by the younger brother in Dwarka’s Jafarpur Kalan. As per a report, the younger brother shot the victim for having extra-marital affairs and wasting family resources on funding his luxurious lifestyle.
According to police, the brother named Manoj Yadav, shot his sibling- Shiv thrice in front of the entire family.
The victim was declared brought dead when rushed to a hospital.
“During a heated exchange, Manoj shouted at his brother, blaming him for his family’s problems. When his brother retorted, Manoj drew a country-made pistol and fired three times. His family tried to subdue him, but he fled,” News18 reported Anto Alphonse, deputy commissioner of police (Dwarka) as saying.
In an earlier incident, a man allegedly shot dead his brother-in-law near Shivpuram Railway station in Meerut as he was upset with his extra-marital affair with his younger sister, police said. The accused Satyendra allegedly killed his elder sister’s 35-year-old husband, who was a property dealer, for having an extra-marital affair with his younger sister and his decision to move to a rented accommodation with her when his wife objected, they said. Satyendra opened fire at his brother-in-law when he was returning during evening. The property dealer was taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, police said. The accused claimed he only wanted to teach his brother-in-law a lesson and injure him but the bullet hit at a wrong place and resulted in his death, they said. Police said Satyendra and his elder sister were arrested in this regard.
