Delhi: MNC Employee Raped by Two Colleagues After Falling Unconscious Due to Drinks Laced With Sedatives

New Delhi: A woman was allegedly gangraped by her colleagues while they were driving her back home on Saturday night. The woman working at a multinational company was offered to be dropped home after office hours by her colleagues Birju and Vinod Kumar. During the ride, the men allegedly served a soft drink laced with sedatives and she fell unconscious.

“The woman was taken to a flat in an unconscious state, where her colleagues allegedly took turns to rape her. Later, the two men dropped the woman near Vasant Kunj in South Delhi,” a police officer told IANS.

The survivor narrated the incident to her family after she reached home. Later, she lodged a complaint with the police. “We have conducted medical examination of the victim which confirms rape. The accused have been arrested from their houses,” the official further said.

Meanwhile, the accused were arrested from their residence in connection with the case.

In another incident, four men allegedly lured a class 10 girl with the promise of a pizza before raping her in east Delhi. The incident took place in Delhi’s Kalyanpuri on Friday.

The girl’s house owner’s son took her to a room with the promise to buy her a pizza. Three other men, who were friends with the 28-year-old man, were reportedly present in the room in an inebriated state, said a senior police official.

The senior officer added that they criminals threatened her against informing anyone. However, the victim narrated her ordeal to her mother when the latter returned from work. Later, the victim, along with her mother, went to a nearby police station and filed a complaint against the accused.
