Meanwhile, the parents of the girl, along with friends and relatives, are protesting outside the school. The parents of the deceased have demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter. The victim’s father said that if his daughter didn’t get justice, he would commit suicide.

Superintendent of Police, Noida, said the case was being investigated. “Many students failed in Maths, Science & Social science, so we can’t say if she was failed deliberately or her answers were not worth passing marks. A committee of experts will investigate it. Further probe is underway,” he said.

Earlier on Wednesday, the principal rejected the harassment allegation against the school teachers. “Such a thing never happened,” he was quoted as saying by ANI. “It’s an unfortunate incident. The school has been following promotion policies of CBSE. Let me make it clear that she had not failed, a re-test was scheduled. We will cooperate with probe agencies,” he had said earlier in the day.

The police on Wednesday morning registered an FIR under sections 306 & 506 IPC & POCSO Act in the case.
