New Delhi: A 28-year-old man was stabbed to death and beheaded by two youths in Sarojini Nagar area of the national capital. The body was recovered from a drain in south Delhi.

As per a report in The Times of India, the victim, a resident of Pilanji village in south Delhi, was identified as Niranjan. His family registered a missing complaint at Sarojini Nagar police station after he didn’t return home for two days. During investigation, the police found that he was often seen with Raju and Rohit, the two accused in the case.

On being questioned, Raju and Rohit confessed to the crime. They told the police that the victim used to bully them and forcibly take money from them for alcohol. In order to take a revenge, the duo chalked out a plan to get rid of him. They met him on April 7 and made him consume liquor. Later, they stabbed him multiple times and dumped the body parts into a drain.

DCP (southwest) Devender Arya informed TOI that accused Raju (18) and Rohit (24) have been booked under IPC Section 302 (murder).
