The development comes a day after Sharma was found dead in the North East Delhi’s Chand Bagh area.

Earlier in the day, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) suspended councillor Tahir Hussain from the party’s primary membership, who was accused of killing the IB staffer in Chans Bagh area.

The decision from the AAP came after an FIR was registered against Hussain for allegedly killed IB officer Ankit Sharma. As per updates, the FIR was registered at Dayalpur Police Station based on the complaint of Sharma’s father Ravinder Kumar.

Along with Section 302 (punishment for murder), the FIR also mentions Section 201 (disappearance of evidence) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Meanwhile, Delhi Police has also sealed the factory that belongs to Hussain in the North East Delhi’s Khajoori Khaas area.

The whole episode came to limelight after Ankit’s father Ravinder Kumar stated that his son was attacked while he was returning from duty.

In the communal violence that broke out on Sunday night, at least 38 people, including a police Head Constable and Sharma, have died and around 200 people have been injured.
