New Delhi: Delhi Police on Wednesday discovered the body of a Security Assistant in Intelligence Bureau (IB) from Chand Bagh Pulia of strife-torn area. Notably, the death toll in the riots that rocked the national capital in the past three days has risen to 21. Over 180 people are known to be injured during the clashes. The deceased had been missing since Tuesday evening. His father, Ravinder Sharma, is also working in the IB.
The Delhi High Court has termed the killing of IB officer in the ongoing violence in north-east Delhi as “extremely unfortunate”.
