New Delhi: As several rounds of mediation are going on between SC-appointed panel of advocated Sanjay Hegde and Sadhana Ramachandran, a breakthrough seems near. While the mediators have made it clear that they only want to talk about road blockade and not about the citizenship law, the protesters have also agreed that they don’t intend to create traffic mayhem. On Saturday morning, Sadhana Ramachandran again went for another round of discussion. On Monday, the Supreme Court will hear the case again. On Friday, one barricade was opened briefly by the Uttar Pradesh Police. “The re-barricading the roads is extremely distressing to us and we wish to emphasise that the action of re-barricading the roads defeats the very purpose of confidence-building on the part of the Police,” Sanjay Hegde said on Friday. “Dil ka raasta sabse bada hai…Jab ye raasta khulega, aap dekhiye dil ke kitne raaste khul jayenge,” Hegde had said yesterday. “If you want to go to meet the Home Minister, you can go. And if you want to go to the government, then go. But, we are not here from the government’s side,” Sadhana Ramachandran said on Saturday.
